China ready for joint exploration in WPS

China is prepared for the possible joint oil and gas exploration in the West Philippine Sea.

Philippine Ambassador to China Chito Sta. Romana confirmed that this was the response of the foreign ministry of China on the lifting of moratorium in all exploration activities in the WPS.

He added that Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian expressed their government’s readiness to collaborate with the Philippines in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding on oil and gas exploration.
