The Chinese side looks forward to the early distribution of the aforesaid ventilators to various medical institutions so as to help the Philippines fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Noting the current pandemic situation in the Philippines, the Chinese Embassy is donating cash and medical supplies to Philippine medical institutions to help the medical professionals and front-liners fight the pandemic. The Embassy will further donate urgently needed medical equipment such as high flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy equipment to the Philippines.

Recently, Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Chinese drug Lian Hua Qing Wen to enter the Philippine market. It is believed that it will contribute to the fight against the spread of COVID-19 in this country and help the patients with mild and moderate symptoms recover. China will continue to provide support and assistance to the Philippines, and stand together with the Philippine government and people to jointly tackle the challenge of the pandemic.
