CIDG files raps vs Poblacion Girl, others over quarantine breach

The Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) on Tuesday (Jan. 4)  filed a complaint against returning overseas Filipino (ROF) Gwyneth Anne Chua and several others for breach of quarantine protocol last month.

Among those included in the complaint for violation of Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act are her parents, boyfriend, and five staff of the Berjaya Makati Hotel.

The CIDG said on Monday (Jan. 3) that the individuals who were in the company of Chua in a party on Dec. 23 will not be charged, but are encouraged to file a complaint before the CIDG.

Based on CIDG’s findings, Chua was fetched by his father hours after her transport to the hotel facility on Dec. 22 night, and was assisted by her mother on Dec. 25 night when she returned to the hotel. – With reports from Bea Bernardo/AG
