Clark Freeport jobs fair on Nov. 29

CLARK FREEPORT, Pampanga — More than 8,000 openings are up for grabs in the jobs fair to be held at the SM Clark Event Center on November 29.

Dubbed “Handog Trabaho sa Panahon ng Pasko”, the one-day jobs fair will be participated in by some 100 companies and locators inside the Clark Freeport. The event will be officially open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The job activity is organized by the Clark Development Corp. (CDC) and the Clark Investors and Locators Association (CILA), in cooperation with the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) office in Central Luzon, Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of Pampanga, and SM Clark as venue sponsor.

The jobs fair is a collaboration between the government and the private sector to provide employment opportunities to residents of Central Luzon and nearby communities.

As a continuing initiative to address issues on job mismatch, the CDC, Subic Clark Alliance Development Council, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, various colleges and universities, and local government units in Pampanga have collaborated to prepare training needs, and implement programs, such as the dual training system to have a labor market that matches the present and future needs of industries in Clark and Subic, as well as contiguous communities.
