MANILA — It will be a cloudy Saturday with possible isolated rain showers across the country.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), in an early morning weather bulletin, said the southwest monsoon or “habagat” will prevail over the western sections of central and southern Luzon, as well as the Visayas, bringing cloudy skies and rains over the regions.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Active Tropical Storm Nari (international name) was located outside the Philippine area of responsibility at 1,920 km. northeast of extreme northern Luzon as of 3 a.m. Saturday, moving north at 25 km. an hour.

Light to moderate winds, moving southwest to west, will cause slight to moderate waves at 0.6 to 2.1 meters in waters around the country.
