Cloudy skies, isolated rains Saturday due to ITCZ

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) or localized thunderstorms.

In its 4:00 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the ITCZ will particularly affect southern Mindanao, warning of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds headed northeast to east will be felt in Luzon and the Visayas, with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Mindanao will experience light to moderate winds headed northeast to north, with similar coastal water conditions.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 26°C to 33°C; Baguio City, 17°C to 25°C; Laoag City, 26°C to 33°C; Metro Cebu, 26°C to 32°C; Cagayan de Oro City, 25°C to 32°C; and Metro Davao, 25°C to 32°C.
