Cloudy skies, isolated rainshowers over PH Saturday

MANILA — The entire archipelago will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers on Saturday, said the state weather bureau.

Light to moderate winds will prevail over the country with slight to moderate seas, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

A low-pressure area (LPA) was spotted 2,325 km. east of southern Mindanao, outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), but this has no direct effect on the country yet, said PAGASA weather specialist Chris Perez.

“The LPA also has a slim chance of entering PAR or becoming a typhoon within 24 to 48 hours,” he added. (PNA)
