Cloudy skies, thunderstorms over PH on Monday

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported in its 4:00 a.m. weather bulletin that the northeasterly surface wind flow will be affecting extreme Northern Luzon on Monday, April 18.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms brought by localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms may occur.

The weather bureau also reported a moderate to strong wind condition directing northeast over Northern Luzon and a light to moderate wind condition directing northeast for the rest of the country.

Meanwhile, PAGASA said that Northern Luzon’s coastal water will have moderate to rough conditions and the rest of the country will have slight to moderate water conditions. -bny
