Coast guard vessel transports relief goods to Palawan

The BRP Bojeador of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) arrived at the Puerto Princesa Port on Sunday (Dec. 26) dawn to deliver relief packs and equipment from the Mimaropa regional disaster office.

The vessel carried 5,000 food packs from Mimaropa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), 10 VSAT units from Department of Information and Communications Technology Luzon Cluster 3 (DICT-L3), and medicines from the Department of Health (DOH).

The newly delivered family food packs are part of the second delivery of Mimaropa DSWD which followed the first delivery in El Nido and the 1,600 packs in Roxas town.

All are included in the 30,000 food packs allotted by the DSWD in the relief operations of Palawan province, Puerto Princesa City, and other northern Palawan towns. – Report from PIA Mimaropa/AG- bny
