Consumer group pushes for strict compliance of price freeze amidst COVID-19 pandemic

Amid reports that the prices are not being followed especially once the products arrive in the market, Laban Konsyumer Inc. firmly pointed out that the price freeze must be strictly implemented during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

In an online forum, the consumer group stated that aside from issuing the suggested retail price (SRP), concerned government agencies should also ensure that the markets are complying with the issued prices.

Laban Konsyumer Inc President Atty. Vic Dimagiba is also asking for the help of the local government units (LGUs) to conduct an information dissemination drive in their respective areas to inform their constituents of the proper price.
