Courts in areas under ECQ and MECQ temporarily closed

The courts in the National Capital Region (NCR) and other areas under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) or Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) are temporarily closed from August 3 to 14.

As indicated in the Administrative Circular signed by Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta, this covers the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Sandiganbayan, Court of Tax Appeals and trial courts in Metro Manila.

However, litigants or court users may still coordinate with the courts through hotlines, email addresses and Facebook accounts that are found in the website of the Supreme Court.

The raffle of cases will still continue although this will be conducted through electronic raffle or through video conferencing. – Report from Kenneth Paciente
