COVID-19 cases in Lower House reach 98 after mass testing


House Secretary General Mark Llandro Mendoza confirmed that the number of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) positive cases in the House of Representatives has reached 98 following the mass testing initiated by House Speaker Lord Allan Velasco.

The mass testing started on November 10 and a surge in the cases were expected Majority of the positive cases are asymptomatic. Those who tested positive were “directed to self-isolate to avoid passing (on) the virus to others and immediate tracing of their close contacts was conducted.”
