The Manila city government on Monday afternoon (June 21) allowed walk-ins for all its COVID-19 vaccination sites amid “low vaccination turnout.”
Based on the data shared by the Manila Public Information Office (PIO), the number of jabs administered increased from 4,402 before walk-ins were allowed at 4:30 p.m. to 11,749 as of 6:30 p.m.
Four mall vaccination sites in the city were allocated 2,500 doses each for Priority Groups A2 or senior citizens and A4 or essential workers. A total of 1,000 doses each were also allocated to 18 vaccination sites for A1, A2, A3, and A5.
Lucky Chinatown Manila, SM Manila, and SM San Lazaro have stopped accepting walk-ins, while Robinsons Place Manila remains open as of 6:30 p.m. -rir
