Crime group leader bagged in Bicol

LEGAZPI CITY —Lawmen arrested Wednesday a suspected leader of a crime group operating in the province of Camarines Norte, a police report said Friday.

Police operatives, armed with a warrant of arrest, nabbed Alfredo Dequilla, 63, single, a native of Barangay Parang, Jose Panganiban, in Santa Elena town, Chief Insp Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Philippine National Police-Bicol spokesperson, said.

Dequilla did not resist arrest when rounded up by policemen Wednesday night.

The arresting operatives seized from the suspect a sling bag containing a .38 caliber revolver and a grenade.
