The Civil Service Commission announced the biggest turnout of examiners with a total of 381,735 individuals taking the Career Service Examination (CSE)-Pen and Paper Test eligibility exam Sunday, March 26.

The eligibility exam was held in 94 testing centers nationwide.

CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles said 94.57% of the aspiring civil servants participated in the examination day, with 331,928 takers for the CSE Professional Level and 49,807 takers for the Sub-Professional level.

“This could be the biggest turnout the CS has had for a single CSE-PPT schedule,” Nograles said.

“Ginawa natin ito dahil batid nating marami pa rin sa ating mga kababayan ang nagnanais na makakuha ng career service eligibility, lao na iyong mga naapektuhan ng postponement ng exam administration noong kasagsagan ng COVID-19 pandemic,” he added.

Nograles also aired his gratitude to teachers, local government units, and other government personnel who participated in the event.

CSC said no significant issues were reported during the exam as everyone complied and cooperated with the health and safety protocols announced prior to the examination day. –gb
