DSWD humanitarian aid for Oriental Mindoro oil spill victims reach 78-M

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) reported Monday, March 27, it provided a total of P78.7 million residents of Oriental Mindoro affected by the recent oil spill.

The total available relief resources, including standby funds, quick response funds, and stockpiles were P2 million as of March 26. 

The oil spill in the sunken motor tanker (MT) Princess Empress affected 157 barangays, as well as 34,891 families or 165,188 individuals.
