DA assures ample rice supply after typhoons hit PH


Department of Agriculture (DA) Secretary William Dar guaranteed that there is enough rice supply despite several typhoons hitting the country.

DA Sec. Dar has estimated that the damage in the rice supply is equivalent to 6 days. There is currently 92 days’ worth of inventory adequate for 3 months of consumption.

The damage caused by the typhoons in the agricultural sector has reached over P10 billion. – PTV News
