Dating Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile, 98, naospital matapos magpositibo sa COVID-19.

Sa isang Facebook post, nagbigay ng update si Enrile tungkol sa kanyang kalagayan.

“To all my FB friends, critics, and enemies: Please bear with me. I am in the hospital. To my critics and enemies: Do not clap with glee. I am not going to die yet. Far from it. God gave me very good doctors,” saad ni Enrile.

Ayon sa dating senador, hindi umano siya nakaramdam ng “discomfort, chills, fever, headache, o malaise” nang magpositibo siya sa COVID-19.

“My body temperature ranges from 36 [degrees] to 36.8 [degrees]. My body oxygen ranges from 96 to 99. All my physical vital signs and blood chemistry readings were normal,” dagdag pa niya.

Dahil dito, hindi na umano makapupunta si Enrile sa inagurasyon ni president-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa Huwebes, June 29.
