Davao del Norte to host 5 boxing title fights

DAVAO CITY – Braulio E. Dujali town in Davao del Norte will host five Mindanao Professional Boxing Association (MinProba) title fights on Tuesday.

Iligan’s James Francis Buray (7-1-0) will face the undefeated Muhammad Ashiq (6-0) of Singapore for the MinProba super featherweight title at the Dujali gymnasium.

On the other hand, Kim “Bonecrusher” Actub (7-9-1) also of Iligan will trade punches with Nushahida Roselie (11-2-0) also of Singapore for the MinProba women’s super-bantamweight belt.

Former RP team member Charly Suarez (1-0) of San Isidro, Davao del Norte will fight undefeated Justin Cabarles (4-0) of Digos City for the vacant MinProba lightweight title.

Marvilo “The King” Aballe (7-1-2) of Braulio E. Dujali will take on Rocky Sardido (8-22-5) of Davao del Sur for the vacant MinProba featherweight title while Jhunrick Carcedo (3-1-0) of Gen. Santos City will fight Romulo “Demon” Ramayan Jr. (7-16-4) of Valencia for the MinProba welterweight title.

The boxing promotion, dubbed as the “Redemption 2 Bakbakan” is promoted by Engr. Jilson Basang of MB Sports Promotion in coordination with Braulio E. Dujali government headed by Mayor Leah Marie Moral-Romano.

The other bouts are Glenn Porras vs. Ramel Antaran; Jestine Tesoro vs. Stephen Bontoyam; Judy Flores vs. Joey Antonio; Guillaume Lorenzo vs. Rey John Indita; Jayarv Rubin vs. JR Cubillan; Arjay Recopecion vs. Jegear Bereno.
