Davao police nets biggest haul in Oplan Bulabog

DAVAO CITY – The continuing simultaneous anti-criminality operation under Oplan Bulabog resulted in the biggest haul months since the Martial Law implementation last May with the arrest of 18 wanted persons with various criminal cases.

The joint Anti-Criminality and Terrorism Operations or the Oplan: Bulabog of the DCPO and other law enforcement units tracked down these wanted persons with pending warrants of arrest.

City Chief of Police Sr. Superintendent Alexander Tagum identified the arrested persons as Celio U. Mangguiob, Joseph T. Ondona, Ivan Herwela, Siberiano L. Gelia, Cleo B. Calleso, Mario I. Nguho, Adonis I. Nguho, Reynaldo D. Datuin, Wilfredo D. Datuin- for illegal gambling.

Others were Arabella A. Lanojan for grave slander; John Doreen Cadiz for murder and physical injuries; Leo Zapanta for robbery; Maximu P. Secuya for violation of RA 9262 or the Violation Against Women and Children; Benjie Duropan for frustrated murder; Noel S. Saura for reckless imprudence resulting in homicide; Danilo R. Palermo for RA 9262; Gaudencio N. Hadlocon for reckless iprudence resulting to homicide; and Arnel C. Preglo for illegal gambling.

Tagum said the operation was conducted in the areas of Sta. Ana police (RGA, Brgy Paciano Bangoy, Agdao); San Pedro ( Purok 1, PC Compound, Brgy 38-D); Talomo (San Antonio, Matina); Sasa (Km 12, Sasa ); Buhangin (Upper Sta Cruz, Acacia, Buhangin); Bunawan (Kabayan Relocation, Tibungko); Toril (Sitio Ilang-Ilang,.Daliao, Toril); Tugbok (Brgy Sto Nino, Tugbok); and Calinan (Prk 8 and 9, Ramon Magsaysay St., Calinan) .

Oplan Bulabog was conducted by the a joint security forces and law enforcement units of DCPO’s 10 Police precincts teams with Task Force Davao, Regional Public Safety Battalion ( RPSB) , Philippine Coastguard (PCG) XI,Regional Mobile Unit ( RMU) , National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) XI , Criminal Investigation and Detection Group ( CIDG) XI and Intelligence Units .
