Dela Rosa on operation against illegal drugs: “Call of Duty”

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police Director Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa defended the numerous count of deaths in operation against illegal drug.

“Kapag kayo mismo (ang) nandoon kaharap ng drug pusher na ‘yan na walang tamang pag-iisip, kahit na mother nila, kahit kapatid nila pinapatay nila dahil sira ulo na sila, ay ibang usapan na yan.” Dela Rosa stated.

Dela Rosa also insisted that it does not matter if one was rich or poor when it comes to ‘war on drugs.’

Morever, according to Dela Rosa, President Rodrigo Duterte, as well as him, do not have any directive on the number of deaths or where the operation should happen and it is only based on the continuous increase of drug users in the country.

On the other hand, the case of police officers allegedly planting of drugs and killing a 17-year old teenager in Caloocan was under investigation.

Recently, 32 was killed in a one time big time operation of police in Bulacan, while 25 and still counting number of death in Metro Manila. | Angelica Bobiles – PTV
