DOH, DENR undertake efforts against polio disease in Manila

Following the positive-for-poliovirus results of over 20 water samples from the sewerage of City of Manila, the Department of Health (DOH) and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) take measures towards averting polio cases in the area. The health arm tasked its men deliver polio vaccination to children. The environmental office, for its part, will construct portable toilets in Baseco Compound, Manila. The DENR also cleans the Baseco beach.
