DepEd salutes teachers amid World Teacher’s Day celebration

Department of Education (DepEd) head Leonor Briones greets more than 800 teachers across the country in the course of the fete of World Teacher’s. The national theme of the celebration is “Gurong Pilipino: Handa sa Makabagong Pagbabago.” The education chief believes that the pedagogy sector carries the burden in endowing the country to cope with the industrial revolution, smart technology generation, and cyber systems. She also acknowledges the strong commitment of the educators to rear the country’s future leaders in the midst of existing technological challenges. Sec. Briones also thanks the instructors for their dedication in providing accessible, relevant, and quality education.
