DILG: 1,546 LGUs declare CPP-NPA-NDF as persona non grata


The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) disclosed that over 1,000 local government units (LGUs) nationwide declared the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF) as persona non grata.

64 provinces, over 110 cities, and more than 1,372 municipalities, over 12,474 barangays have passed a resolution to declare the members of the leftist group as persona non grata in their respective areas. 169 LGUs are in various stages of their deliberation in their respective provincial, city, and town councils.

DILG Secretary Eduardo Año thanked the LGUs for their cooperation to end the communist terrorist groups’ wreaking havoc nationwide. – PTV News
