DILG: Absence of PNP director general is not a punishment to PNP

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) expressed that the long want of Philippine National Police (PNP) chief that extends to date is not a punishment to the police agency. The DILG reasoned that President Rodrigo Duterte just examines the current condition of the PNP. Further, the Chief Executive, following his disappointment on the “ninja cops,” ensures that the next top policeman will be of help in obliterating the illegal-drug menace in the Philippines.
