DITO Telecommunity officially launched

The third telecommunication company of the Philippines, DITO Telecommunity, has officially launched on Monday. The telco company was launched in 15 areas in Metro Cebu and Metro Davao.

In its soft launch, there was a welcome offer of ₱199 unlimited DITO-to-DITO SMS and unlimited data that will last until March 31. 3,000 frontliners will also receive free SIM cards with free call, texts, and broadband services in 10 parts of Visayas and Mindanao to provide aid to the local governments.

The launching of DITO in Metro Manila and other areas is anticipated in the next few weeks. Its entry as the third telco company in the country is expected to force lower prices and service improvement from the other telco companies.
