DND, AFP support Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020

The Department of National Defense (DND) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) are pleased with the passing of the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 in the Senate.

According to the DND, the ability of the government to chase down terrorists in the Philippines will be greater than ever.

In the bill, the Filipinos will now have adequate protection against any threat or harassment from internal or extraneous elements.

There are 19 senators who favored the bill while only two opposed it.
