DOH welcomes President Duterte’s move against E-cigar

The Department of Health (DOH) embraces President Rodrigo Duterte’s prohibition on vaping in public places across the Philippines, reasoning that the move will benefit the public as the object contains hazardous chemicals. Vaping, it adds, must not be exploited as an excuse in avoiding the use of genuine cigarettes. The House Committee on Health acclaims the Head of State’s future executive order on the matter.

On a separate news, the health arm confirms the existence of three new polio cases in Mindanao. In response, the office administers mass anti-polio vaccination across the country on November 25 to December 27, 2019.
