DOJ to act on complaints filed against Sen. Pimentel

Everyone is equal in the eyes of the law. This was the response of
DOJ Usec. Markk Perete when asked why Sen. Koko Pimentel was not arrested even if he went to the Makati Medical Center and a grocery store despite being positive for the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The Department of Justice has guaranteed that it will take action on any complaints to be filed against the senator.

The MMC has initially denounced the lawmaker’s move to be with his pregnant wife in the hospital . The MMC stressed that the senator has violated outright the protocol implemented while Luzon is under the Enhanced Community Quarantine.
