Sen. Koko Pimentel: Ready to face charges on quarantine breach

Senator Koko Pimentel stated that he is ready to defend himself in accordance with the law should charges be filed regarding his breach of home quarantine protocol

According to the senator, he will answer every possible charge against him.

“I will respond to their specific allegations in due time after we read them and compare with what is in the law. We are in an entirely new environment where everything is in a state of flux. I believe even the so called protocols have changed over time. Everything will be clarified in due time.”

Changes must be considered due to the complicated situation in the Philippines, he added.

Meanwhile, the Makati Medical Center has released a statement accepting the senator’s apology.
