DOJ USec. Perete resigns


Justice Undersecretary and Department of Justice (DOJ) Spokesperson Markk Perete announced his resignation on Thursday morning.

“After much thought, I have decided to submit my resignation from the DOJ effective today due to serious reasons,” Perete stated.

Perete sought for understanding on his decision, although he did not elaborate the exact reason of his resignation.

Perete has been with the DOJ for more than two years and was appointed as undersecretary of the department in July 2018. – PTV News
