DOLE acts on Middle East turmoil

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), consequent to the escalating tension between the United States of America and Iran, carries out several undertakings in behalf of Filipinos situated in Middle East. First, it coordinates with the different arms of the government in line with the repatriation of said individuals. It will also deploy rapid response teams to talk to the overseas Filipino workers in the region.

The DOLE informs that the Philippines’s repatriation undertaking has an allotment of PHP100 million.
