DOLE realigns P1.5-B from 2020 budget for CAMP financial aid

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has realigned PhP 1.5 billion from its 2020 budget to give financial aid to the additional 300, 000 workers processed under COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP).

DOLE Secretary Silvestre Bello III admitted that 1 million workers have not yet been given financial aid under CAMP.

The DOLE is currently processing financial aid through the employer’s submitted documents and can currently help 650, 000 workers under the program. – PTV News
