Dolly de Leon wins best supporting actress in Sweden film awards

Filipino actress Dolly de Leon was recognized as the “Best Supporting Actress” in Guldbaggen awards in Sweden for her role in the satirical black comedy film “Triangle of Sadness.”

Filipino actress Dolly de Leon was recognized as the “Best Supporting Actress” in Guldbaggen awards in Sweden for her role in the satirical black comedy film “Triangle of Sadness.”

The film also bagged various recognitions in the award-giving body including “Best Movie”, “Best Direction” for Ruben Östlund “Best Male Actor in a Supporting Role” for Zlatko Burić, “Best Costume Design” for Sophie Krunegaard, and “Best Mask Design” for Stefanie Gredig.

De Leon also won in other international award-giving bodies, including the Golden Globe Awards, North Dakota Film Society Awards, and Los Angeles Film Society Awards.

The Guldbaggen has been awarding Swedish films since 1964. – gb
