Domestic flights resume on June 3

The Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) has approved the resumption of domestic flights in GCQ to GCQ areas starting June 3.

According to the Civil Aeronautics Board, they need to meet with local government units (LGUs) since they will be the ones accepting passengers. Only essential travels are allowed.

CAB Executive Director Carmelo Arcilla stated that in terms of testing the passengers, they should check the guidelines with airlines and LGUs since several areas require home quarantine.

The Philippine Airlines (PAL) is scheduled to resume its domestic flights on June 3 while Cebu Pacific has released its domestic flight routes and is expected to resume operation on June 3.
