DOT-accredited resorts sa ilalim ng GCQ, balik-operasyon na simula bukas

Magbabalik-operasyon na simula sa Martes (Hunyo 1) ang mga DOT-accredited resorts na nasa ilalim ng General Community Quarantine (GCQ), ayon sa Department of Tourism (DOT).

Sa ilalim ng guidelines ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), pinapayagan na ang hanggang 30% na kabuuang kapasidad sa mga naturang pasilidad, at bawal pa rin ang mga buntis at may comorbidity.

Ayon kay DOT Sec. Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, maaari na rin ang pag-swimming ngunit kinakailangan ay isang household o pamilya lamang.

Giit ng mga eksperto, mababa ang tsansang makakuha ng virus sa swimming pool kahit na aksidenteng makainom ng tubig mula rito ang isang tao.

“Water cannot transmit COVID-19. Drinking water is not transmitting COVID-19 and if you swim in a swimming pool… you cannot get COVID-19 through water,” saad ng Department of Global Infectious Hazard Preparedness (GIH) Director Dr. Sylvie Briand.
