DOTr shows new design of driver’s license

By Myris Lee

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) informed the public on Tuesday, April 26, of the new  design of the driver’s license issued by the Land Transportation Office.

Through an advisory shared on their social media page, the DOTr showed that the new design uses a pale tint of off-white color like pearl replacing the old bluish motif.

It assured that all security features of the new design to determine the card’s legitimacy remain similar to the older design.

Last October 2021, the validity of driver’s license was extended to 10 years for drivers without traffic violations.  – ag
