DSWD assures adequate funds, supplies for typhoon victims

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) assured that it has adequate funds and supplies for typhoon victims in the CARAGA Region.

In a statement, the DSWD disclosed that it has prepared over 6,000 food packs worth ₱13.5 million in its field office in the said region. Aside from this, the department also has a standby fund of ₱3 million for emergency supply procurement.

The Social Welfare and Development Department initially sent out ₱179,000 worth of aid for the local government units (LGUs) affected by Typhoon Auring. -PTV News
