DSWD stages “Huwarang Pantawid Pamilya”

As the celebration of National Family Week concludes, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) conducts its “Huwarang Pantawid Pamilya” program. The event, which began in 2012, aims to recognize Filipino families across the country who have improved their living since they availed of the DSWD’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. The nominated families called the “huwarang pamilya” are those that used the financial aide in highly useful engagements such as sustaining the education of their children and expanding their existing businesses.
