DTI, NBI, PNP-CIDG confiscate P15-M worth of medical supplies

The government vowed to strengthen the fight against hoarders and unscrupulous traders after supplies worth millions were confiscated.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), along with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) have seized PhP15M-worth of alcohol, hand sanitizers, face masks, and thermal scanners.

The DTI also strictly implements the price freeze of goods to avoid hoarding and profiteering while Luzon is under the enhanced community quarantine. – PTV News
