“I appreciate it kaya lang naman sabi ko, andyan na sa akin lahat ang gusto ko pero hindi lahat ng bagay… bagay-bagay dito sa mundo, gusto ko lahat yan, that’s another thing.”

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte said when asked why he wanted his friends and colleagues not to give gifts to him this coming Christmas, instead donate it to soldiers and policemen.

During an interview with Erwin Tulfo on the latest “Sa Totoo Lang” program, he clarified that he doesn’t even “need everything or anything.”

Mayroon talagang magkakaproblema dyan. Lalo na yung presidente na ngayon,” he said.

The president also mentioned that he received gifts before that’s why this Christmas, he will make a raffle for them.

Ngayong pasko yung sundalo, i-ano ko yan, i-raffle ko,” he said.

Duterte even showed as a proof that he isn’t using any branded things, saying “Itong sapatos ko, basahin mo ang pangalan. Rolando Santos. Alam mo kung taga-saan to? Marikina.
