Duterte, nagpaalala sa barangay officials hinggil sa mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng safety protocols 

Mariing pinaalalahanan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mga barangay officials na mahigpit na ipatupad ang quarantine guidelines at health protocols sa kanilang mga nasasakupan upang maiwasan ang pagkalat ng COVID-19.

Sa nakaraang pagpupulong ng pandemic task force noong Lunes (Mayo 10), nagbabala ang Pangulo sa iba pang lokal na opisyal na posible rin silang makasuhan kapag napatunayang nagkaroon ng kapabayaan.

Iniulat ni Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año ang 18,862 indibidwal na lumabag sa safety protocols mula Mayo 6 hanggang 10, isang linggo matapos atasan ng Presidente ang mga pulis na arestuhin ang mga hindi nakasuot ng face mask sa pampublikong lugar.

“We will continue to implement your instructions because violations of public health standards cause outbreaks, especially the non-wearing of face masks,” saad ni Año.

Kaugnay nito, kinumpirma ni Año na pinakakasuhan na ng Caloocan local government unit (LGU) ang barangay officials na nakakasakop sa Gubat sa Ciudad resort at ang may-ari nito dahil sa kaliwa’t-kanang paglabag sa quarantine protocols.
