Duterte thanks Filipinos for making him president

President Rodrigo Duterte turned emotional as he ended his speech during the groundbreaking ceremony of the Pampanga Provincial Hospital in Clark, Pampanga, Sunday, May 1.

“Now that I am already at the tail end of my administration, I thank everyone who has helped me realize the dreams we have for our country,” Duterte said.

“I am honored to be with you, as I commemorate my last Labor Day as President,” he added.

On Sunday, Duterte also led the inauguration of the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) Hospital.
