MANILA— The easterlies would affect the eastern section of the country, bringing scattered rainshowers, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Monday.

In its 24-hour weather forecast, the state weather bureau said the regions of Bicol, Caraga, Davao, and SOCCSKSARGEN and Quezon province will experience scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Metro Manila, the Visayas and the rest of Luzon and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers.

No gale warning is raised as coastal waters will be slight to moderate. (Lily Ramos/PNA)
