Easterlies to bring scattered rain showers Friday

MANILA—The easterlies continue to affect the country Friday, bringing scattered rain showers in the afternoon.

In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said eastern and central Visayas would experience scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.

Isolated rains would shower Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country would have isolated rain showers brought by localized thunderstorms.

Temperature in Metro Manila will be 24-33 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 23-33; Baguio City 16-25; Metro Cebu 25-31 and Metro Davao 25-33.
