Easterlies to bring scattered rains over E. Visayas, Bicol

MANILA— Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies would affect the eastern section of the country on Thursday.

In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said affected regions include Eastern Visayas and Bicol.

Ilocos, Cordillera and Cagayan Valley regions, Central Luzon, Calabarzon and Metro Manila would have cloudy conditions and experience isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

The seaboards of northern Luzon and the eastern section of Luzon will have strong winds from the northeast with rough coastal waters.

Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 23-32 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 22-32 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 13-24 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 25-31 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 25-34 degrees Celsius.
