Enrolled students now more than 12M

The total count of enrollees from kindergarten to grade 12 has reached more than 12.5 million. Based on current data, there are 12,114,090 students who have enrolled in public schools and 415,884 in private schools.

Individuals who will undergo alternative learning system and non-graded learners with disabilities are also included in the current tally.

The Department of Education (DepEd) earlier opened last Tuesday the use of its drop box system and kiosks in barangay halls and schools for enrollment in public schools.
