Expect fair weather on Sunday

MANILA — Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over most parts of the archipelago due to the easterlies affecting the whole country, the weather bureau said Sunday.

Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the tail end of a cold front will affect the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its latest weather forecast.

It also advised possible flash floods during severe thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds will blow over most parts of the country while moderate to strong winds will blow over Northern Luzon.

The coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough.

The minimum temperature for the day is 26.0°C while the maximum temperature is at 35.9°C, PAGASA said.
