Fair weather on Saturday as high-pressure area affects Luzon

Fair weather will prevail in most of the country on Saturday, June 4, with the ridge of a high-pressure area extending over the eastern sections of central and southern Luzon.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the entire country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms brought by localized thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds headed south to southwest will blow over Luzon, bringing slight to moderate seas.

Winds in the Visayas and Mindanao will be light and headed southeast to east, with slight coastal water conditions.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 26°C to 34°C; Baguio City, 17°C to 24°C; Puerto Princesa City, 26°C to 32°C; Metro Cebu, 26°C to 32°C; and Metro Davao, 24°C to 33°C. – gb
