Fast-track construction of Central Luzon infra projects: DPWH

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — An official of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has ordered full-blast works on all infrastructure projects in the province.

DPWH Regional Director Roseller Tolentino said Friday he instructed the project engineers and contractors to take advantage of good weather condition and finish all the ongoing projects in Central Luzon.

“I asked them to finish the construction of the projects fast without sacrificing the quality,” he said.

Tolentino has been conducting on the spot inspection of the ongoing projects being undertaken by the department in the region.

This week, he inspected the bridge and flood control projects in Barangay Labi, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija.

Tolentino said he held a meeting with Nueva Ecija Second District Engineering head Ricardo Puno and other engineers to expedite the construction and make sure the projects are completed on time. (Froilan Magtoto/PNA)
